B.Tech Petroleum Engineering

Overview:

The B.Tech Petroleum Engineering program trains students in Petroleum Engineering and focuses primarily on exploration and production of Oil & Gas. You will gain a thorough knowledge of all major technical aspects in relation to the entire hydrocarbon value-chain and the strategic techno-commercial issues relevant to the domain.

    a. Exam Category
    Selection under Exam category will be based on:
    • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)in 12th
    • Candidate has to take UTM Scholastic Test
    b. Non- Exam Category
    Selection under Non-exam category will be based on:

    1. Board Merit Ranking
    • Minimum 60% Marks in 10th
    • Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in 12th
    2.JEE Mains Merit Ranking
    • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in 12th
    • JEE Main 2017 cut-off Marks: 40
